Wao and Hana so in love. Their on screen chemistry is amazing. Though want to buy a story where Wao's character does not tragically die leaving Hana alone. Castel Mirage was fun though. Hoping to happy Wao/Hana in Boxman. I'll post some screenshots of stuff later.
Now that I think about it all the Wao DVDs I have are depressing. Phantom, Never Say Goodbye, Elisabeth and now Castel. Seriously =( I need to look and see if she did anything non tragic.
I seriously need to find a DVD of her as Velma in Chicago just to see. I wonder how her non Taka career is going.
Also saw Rent in Providence yesterday with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. So amazing. I love Adam Pascal. Only Idina would have made it perfect. Maureen still awesome though. |

...I'm more and more in love with Lea Michele's voice. And I'm glad Quinn got pregnant and can't be a cheerio anymore because she's just...so...absolutely gorgeous.
I ship Rachel and Quinn just because they'd be hot together. That and I think Quinn totally wants Rachel bad. |

Gmail is down. Nemi is sad.
That said I'm currently totally in love with Felicia Day. She's totally...adorable. And cute. I found out that zune lets me download all of The Guild for free. I was excited and finished season 2. I shamelessly love it. Also the Do You Want to Date my Avatar song. =D
But yeah Felicia Day is totally nerdy it's awesome. To the point where I am amused at reading her blog. And I hate reading blogs usually. Hell I only check LJ once every two weeks or something when I'm bored or gmail is down.
Also if you have not seen Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog go watch it. Then listen to Commentary the Musical.
I've been on a bit of a TV kick recently.
I have to also admit that my new guilty pleasure to watch Sunday nights is Drop Dead Diva. It's actually fairly fun. Cheesy and predictable, but fun. Also the fact that Kim did not turn into the Psycho Token Bitch Villain was nice and refreshing. Maybe I was watching too many KDramas that I just expected her to be evil beyond human comprehension.
Edit: Also Top Chef. This season amuses so far. My chips are with Jenn the Quazi Bitch. I have little faith so far in Team Lesbian unfortunately. Also, is it some sort of rite of cooking school where you must get heavily tattooed? |

I just spent a good 20 minutes googling the cast of the Song of Ice and Fire TV series.
Why? Dear god why? I really don't agree with who they cast to be Catelyn, though as I hate her with the fiery passion of a thousand suns I probably shouldn't care.
If nothing else, Jaime Lannister's actor is hot.
I'm not sure how I feel about Dany either.
ARGH. Who am I kidding?
Dear: GRRM. STOP F'ING AROUND AND FINISH. THE. GODDAMNED. BOOK.
Fuck this TV series (unless it's good, which it probably won't be).

Point A:
Okay so like a) the State of New Hampshire can suck their uninsured drivers law. b) To the drunken bastards who rear-ended me, I hope you choke on your beer (okay so the driver was not totally drunk but the other two people were trashed out of their mind) c) My poor car.
Point B:
Trauma Center for DS is so much freaking fun. Seriously, I was sort of making fun of it because I was like 'You...play a doctor?' But the game is literally SO BAD it's awesome.
So it starts out really simple. Some sutures here, some disecting there. The most complicated real surgery you get is some sort of valve replacement or the weird one with floaties. Curing cancer in this game by the way is ridiculously easy. Also you're always supplied with your trusty can of Miracle Gel which instantly closes wounds.
Eventually stuff gets harder, your crap doctor suddenly develops this MAGIC power called HEALING TOUCH which slows everything down so he can focus better. To activate healing touch after this you must trace a star in the screen. Don't forget to actually select the right tool though. I accidentally carved a star into some guy's lung once. That didn't exactly help his vitals.
The weird stuff starts later. TERRORIST VIRUS GUILT which is cured by slashing at it under a patient's skin and then firing at it with your laser beam (serious). There are other strains most of which involve a lot of things which can't be really good for a patient.
Seriously though, my favorite moment in this game ever: "A BOMB!! OH NOES! YOU'RE A DOCTOR! DIFFUSE THE BOMB! IT'S NO DIFFERENT THAN SURGERY!!!!" |

I've decided I will offer some sort of reward, to be determined (it will be something awesome I think), if someone can find me an online femslash fic, original or fanfiction*, that is at least 50 pages and does not contain the following:
a) Emotionally stunted protagonist that must learn to love again
b) Emotionally stunted love interest that the protagonist must teach to love again.
c) Annoyingly horrifying coming out story that involves massive whoring around with men to disprove the idea that they could possibly be gay only to end in a crying and touching scene where she comes to term with her feelings after realizing what a terrible bitch she was and the next day is perfectly okay with everything.
d) Gratuitous use of pet names and the urge to instantly call your new SO: love, darling, honey, sweetie, etc.
e) Where being gay does not automatically up your benevolence/amazing factor by 200 fold, or even better a story where everyone else does not happen to also be gay around you.
Bonus Points: If you can find a story that doesn't involve the love between a blonde and a brunette.
Extra Bonus: Actually if anyone wants to write something including all this I'll send you a cookie just for the lol-factor.
* If it's fanfiction then it has to be in character too. =P |

1) Why does being on the L Word automatically merit you a top 100 spot? Like seriously. Mia Kirshner? People actually think she's attractive? Okay maybe they do but seriously.
2) zomg! Patricia Vico made the list! I was really excited about that. So much love for her.
3) Really crazy to see the number changes in rank from last year to this year.
4) Anne Hathaway making the list just makes me think that fandom really is scary and can accomplish all sorts of things. Like the DWP fandom. That never dies. No matter how terrible the fics are.
That said was randomly talking to some people recently. Maybe I just can't find it but has fanfiction really gone down as a whole in quality? I haven't been able to find anything that is really good. I mean granted I don't go out of my way to look but I'll skim here and there and generally be annoyed. =(
Edit: Wow, Shelley Conn made the list. Nice! Though Mistresses Season 2 made me sad. Also, I have been shamefully watching the OC because Samaire Armstrong is hot. ¬¬ |

Afro Ninja = Amazing
Because blocking machine gun bullets with nunchaku and growing an afro with mystical ninja powers is awesome. It was almost better than laughing hysterically at the Twilight movie. The only problems with Afro ninja were the parts where they were like 'No really, we have plot!'
So I had a nice relaxing weekend for once. Bad Movie night Saturday with some buddies. Sunday I ended up going to Boston to see Dvořák's Rusalka. They did an amazing job with the stage. It was really beautiful. The costumes, the effects, the music. I was very impressed. Act I, a tiny bit slow but Act II and III were more than amazing.
That said, I've become recently addicted to that BBC show "Mistresses" which I've been watching in off-time. It's so...amazingly bad. It's like watching 10 train wrecks happen at once. But with lesbians! And like affairs! |
